Moringa Seed Oil

Moringa oil is derived from the seeds of Moringa Oleifera, it is also known as the drumstick tree, in reference to the shape of its seed pods. The oil of the seeds also has a special name “ben oil”. It is called so because it has high amounts of behenic acid, being mentioned as an extremely useful oil in the medicinal books of Greece and Rome.

This small tree grows in abundance on the Fijian islands

Virtually all parts of the moringa tree, including its seeds, roots, bark, flowers, and leaves, can be used for nutritional, industrial or medicinal purposes. For this reason, it is sometimes referred to as “the miracle tree.”
