Coconut Copra

Our Coconut Copra is sourced from the remote Islands of Fiji known as a hidden paradise.

Copra is the dried flesh of coconuts. Each mature coconut palm tree bears between 50 to 75 nuts that can be picked, split open with machetes, and left in the sun to dry. The Copra is then dug out of the shells and further dried on racks.

As a whole the Coconut comprises of four parts:

The husk – made up of coir, the shell – the brown hairy-like shell we recognize the coconut by, the flesh – the edible part known as the coconut “meat”, and coconut water.  Products derived from fresh coconut “meat” and sun-dried coconut “meat” are referred to as Copra.
